About the role We’re hiring a Software Engineering Lead to take ownership of delivering software solutions end-to-end. This is not a pure management role and not a purely hands-on coding role. It sits in between, combining technical leadership, delivery ownership, and problem-solving in situations where requirements are often unclear or evolving. You’ll work on problems that don’t come with clean specifications. You’ll define solutions, not just implement them, and you’ll be expected to take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. What you’ll do Turn ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear technical plans and deliverable scope. Own delivery end-to-end, including prioritization, sequencing, trade-offs, and release. Make and guide architecture decisions, including APIs, data flows, integrations, and system design. Step in when needed to debug, validate, or unblock critical technical issues. Work closely with data science and other teams to align solutions and constraints. Mentor engineers and guide them through complex or unfamiliar problems. Ensure what gets shipped is not just done, but correct, reliable, and maintainable. Requirements 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. Experience leading delivery of software projects end-to-end. Strong system thinking, including APIs, services, data flows, and integrations. Ability to work with unclear requirements and turn them into structured solutions. Experience with modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring. Ability to work across different parts of the stack when needed. Proven ability to ramp up quickly in unfamiliar technologies and solve problems. Nice to have Experience working with data-heavy systems, ML/AI, or NLP. Startup or small-team experience. Experience mentoring or hiring engineers.
