Job Title: Junior Data Engineer (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, AWS ETL) Location: Washington, DC ( Hybrid ) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification • Responsibilities Assist with schema design, data modeling, and stored procedure development. Build and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines. Implement automation tools and CI/CD processes. Support query optimization and indexing strategies. Assist in database migrations and upgrades. Help with data validation, archiving, cataloging, and metadata management. Support security controls, compliance documentation, and audit prep. Collaborate with development teams on best practices. Qualifications 1 3 years of SQL development and database fundamentals. Hands-on PostgreSQL and SQL Server required. Familiarity with indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning. ETL experience using SQL, Python, Glue, Step Functions, or Lambda. Exposure to AWS (RDS, EC2, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions). RedShift Experience Preferred. Understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and metadata management. Security Clearance: Must obtain and maintain Moderate Risk (MBI) clearance.
