As a Software Engineer Sr. within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX ; Jacksonville, FL or Miamisburg, OH. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. This position will require weekly onsite time in one of the locations listed.** This position will support releases/incidents which are typically once per month Prior Leadership Experience Knowledge in Object oriented Analysis and Design.Experience in designing, building, and maintaining high transaction, distributed Restful APIs and Microservices.Strong JAVA hands on experience - preferably the versions listed belowExcellent communication, collaboration and organizational skillsStrong working experience leveraging Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)Preferred Tech Stack Experience Knowledge of event driven architecture using Kafka/MQ.Experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift and/or other cloud-based container management platforms.Experience with cloud based platformsProficiency in Oracle/SQL/MySQL, in memory databases such as Redis, and Hibernate/ORMs.Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks Spock/Junit and Code quality control platforms like SonarQubeAdvanced Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsStrong working knowledge using Dynatrace and LogscaleStrong knowledge in Core Java (Java 11+) preferably Java 17.Experience in Java based Microservices frameworks including Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring batch.Gradle and/or Maven.Job Description Aligns business strategy with software solutions. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
