Candidate Note: This is a fully remote position available to candidates in EST or CST time zones only. We are seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer who possesses solid experience in cloud environments and is eager to learn and grow. You will play a crucial role in engineering, deploying, and maintaining robust solutions while prioritizing security. Your Impact: • Develop and implement solutions for cloud-based systems. • Provision and manage resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. • Offer comprehensive technical support for a global, multi-region environment. • Elevate teammate skill sets through knowledge sharing. • Maintain a security-first mentality in all activities. • Collaborate closely with the Information Security team. What You'll Bring: • Strong engineering and operations experience with AWS. • Proficiency in Linux system administration. • Ability to write and maintain complex Terraform and Ansible scripts. • Experience with scripting, particularly in Python and Shell. • Familiarity with CI/CD principles. • Proficiency in Git and GitHub. • Understanding of cloud security best practices in a business context. • A minimum of 5 years of DevOps and Systems Administration experience. • Exceptional technical, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Capability to manage stress, self-direct, and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines. • Experience working as part of a team in a remote setting. • Ability to interact effectively with internal customers. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud. • Familiarity with AWS Organizations. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Skills in maintaining and troubleshooting web services. • Knowledge of CDNs and WAFs. • Understanding of IDPs and SSO integrations. • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP). • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
