About the position As a Technical Lead, Software Engineer at Litera, you will guide the design and delivery of software for the legal profession. You will partner with Product Management, your scrum team, and engineers across a distributed organization to turn product priorities into high-quality, on-time releases. You will own product features from estimates through design and development, provide technical direction, review code, and coach less experienced engineers. The role involves applying modern software engineering methods to solve complex problems and collaborating on product and technical ideas.\n\nThis is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado, with an expectation to work in the office at least three days per week. The role is eligible for a company bonus plan. The stated base salary range is \$150,000 to \$180,000 USD, and Litera offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs, subject to eligibility requirements. Responsibilities Own product features from estimation through design and development.Provide technical direction for a product using modern software engineering techniques and methodologies.Conduct code reviews to improve quality and share engineering best practices.Coach and mentor less experienced team members.Partner with Product Management to help scrum teams stay focused on delivering value on time.Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, and disciplined troubleshooting to solve complex problems and defects.Contribute product and technical ideas through brainstorming and shared expertise.Requirements At least 8 years of professional experience implementing full-stack solutions to real business problems.At least 1 year of experience leading a team of 2 or more engineers.Expert-level skills in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Git, Azure DevOps, NuGet, NPM, and SonarQube.Strong command of software development principles and design patterns, including object-oriented design, SOLID, TDD, KISS, and DRY.Excellent understanding of at least one major SPA/SSR framework, such as React, Next, Vue, Nuxt, Angular, or Svelte.Excellent written, verbal, and video-based communication skills for working across a distributed team.Nice-to-haves Solid understanding of Scrum practices and ability to keep a team focused on delivering value on time.Strong team player who gives and receives feedback openly.Enjoyment of brainstorming product and technical ideas.Willingness to learn, improve one’s craft, and share knowledge with others.Benefits Medical coverageDental coverageVision coverage401(k) with company matchCompany bonus planIncentive and recognition programsCareer development and meaningful stretch opportunities job perk: Qualifications: No degree mentioned
