Software Engineers are responsible for the software design and development of complex, tactical geophysical systems. The software design and development responsibilities include code and unit testing, troubleshooting, guidance and/or execution on corrective actions, and recommendations for design enhancement. Must be able to work within a team to drive the architecture of the core distributed data processing infrastructure. Requirements include experience with signal processing, algorithm development, real-time processing and parallel processing using GPUs (CUDA API).Requirements also include the ability to work on multiple projects, self-direct, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong problem solving and analytical skills. Requirements of this role also include up to 20% travel to customer sites, maintaining and resolving software issues, performing system upgrades, and providing hands-on technical assistance.
