Responsibilities: Testing responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: • contribution to creation of a Test Design Document (TDD) and own testing outcomes at the project level • Interaction with all up and downstream parties involved in testing • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages. • Drive for excellence • Eagerness to learn and develop on a broad scope (functional, product, finance, testing and technical) • Ability to work under pressure in a continuously evolving & challenging environment. • Build and manage personal Test schedule • Manage and resolve testing conflicts • Work closely with the analysis team to ensure clear, testable acceptance criteria are part of the defined requirements • Ensure that we have full traceability of test cases back to requirements • Ensure that we understand test coverage at each stage • Plan the project test strategy, within the guidelines and constraints of the program test strategy • Define the project test environment requirements, and work with the environments. • Configuration Management team to ensure that those environments are delivered • Define the project test data strategy, and prepare common test data (working with the program test data lead) • Ensure that regression and automation tests are delivered along with (or asap after) the code release, and incorporated into future test phases, including regression testing • Participate in Quality Assurance reviews as required • Interface with governance via the Delivery Management Meeting and Functional Management Meeting. • Work with Program Management to plan and flex tester capacity and skills to meet project needs • Work with program management to ensure the program can supply the necessary capacity and capability to staff and execute the various test cycles Senior: • MXtest knowledge & 2 years experience • MX.3 knowledge & experience • University degree in Computer science, computer engineering, mechatronics or equivalent • 2-5 years of experience Mandatory Skills Description: • Strong understanding of Test Management and its life cycle • Strong understanding and ability to formulate a full Testing Cycle • Strong experience with MXTest suite • Good product knowledge • Strong understanding and experience in working with stream key stakeholders • Good understanding and some experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle • Strong analytical and conceptual skills • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong presentation skills • Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally • Strong experience in supporting RISK users and resolving their daily issues Must: • 0.5 - 3 years experience with Murex (...focus on Testing) • Must have strong personality and logical and analytical skills • Must be able to direct/manage large distributed teams • Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and a self-starter. • Possess good verbal and written communication skills • Must have strong organization skills Nice-to-Have Skills Description: • BS or higher degree in Finance, mathematics, or equivalent • Murex Test management • Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades • Trade life cycle management • Market Data management • Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus • Client focus: understands clients' businesses; identifies and understands the needs and objectives of clients, both on an individual and corporate basis; builds strong relationships, aiming to be a trusted partner to the clients. • Communication skills: expresses ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing; adjusts language, terminology, and non-verbal communication as appropriate. • Teamwork: works effectively with others; helps to build strong teams and networks. • Personal leadership: realistically identifies own skills, experience, knowledge, and other personal attributes; displays confidence and resilience. • Planning and organizing: identifies and meets milestones; understands and articulates deliverables; assesses and mitigates risks; sticks to the scope of work and manages any changes. • Analytical decision-making: identifies and solves problems using insight and experience to make good decisions; gathers relevant information, identifying important issues and drawing conclusions.
