Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Calgary Type: Full Time / In Office Presented by: TLNT Bridge Recruiting Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Role Overview: We are seeking a QA Engineer with expertise in automation testing, TypeScript, Playwright, C#, and BDD frameworks. The ideal candidate thrives in Agile development environments, working closely with developers to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, iterative setting. Responsibilities • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for frontend applications. • Implement end-to-end (E2E) test automation using Playwright, TypeScript, and/or C#. • Ensure seamless integration of QA processes within the software development lifecycle. • Validate test coverage for React-based applications and other frontend technologies. • Develop a risk-based testing strategy, ensuring comprehensive test coverage through automated regression testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) to enhance deployment efficiency. • Conduct API testing and validate external system integrations. • Leverage cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes). • Follow Agile best practices and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies. Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on frontend applications. Required Skills • Expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and C#. • Experience with React-based applications and modern frontend tech stacks. • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps tools for test automation. • Hands-on experience with API testing and external system integrations. • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes). • Knowledge of performance testing (though not a primary focus).
