Full Stack Developer Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) Overview Brooksource is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our client’s ongoing modernization initiative. This role will support efforts to rebuild and enhance a suite of legacy applications into a modern tech stack. The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of hands-on development experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Vue.js (or similar frameworks), is eager to learn, and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Application Development: Design, develop, and test full stack applications using Spring Boot and Vue.js. • Modernization Support: Contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures and frameworks. • Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, product owners, and business analysts during sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews. • Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews. • Troubleshooting: Assist with debugging, application support, and performance tuning. • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on new technologies and contribute to process and technical improvements. Required Skills & Experience • 1–4 years of professional software development experience. • Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development. • Exposure to Vue.js, React, or other modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend work. • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Solid communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
