Job Title: AS400 Developer with Banking/Financial domain experience Location preference: Pittsburgh, PA - Onsite Duration: Long term Employment type: Contract, OPT/CPT’s, H1B’s preferred Mode of interview: 1st round virtual interview, 2nd round Face to Face Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced AS400 Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications running on the IBM i (AS400) platform. Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and maintain applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform. · Develop and enhance programs using RPG (RPG III / RPG IV / ILE RPG / Free Format RPG) and CL programming. · Work with DB2/400 databases, including file design, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. · Perform impact analysis, debugging, and production support for critical banking systems. · Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical solutions. · Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. · Support batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations. · Maintain documentation for system changes and enhancements.
