KalSoft is currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer (Python/Django + Frontend) to come and join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building full-stack web applications using Django and modern frontend technologies. The candidate will work as part of a collaborative development team delivering scalable digital solutions. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, deploy, and support full-stack web applications using Python (Django) and modern frontend frameworks • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models using Django and Django REST Framework • Create responsive, interactive, and user-friendly frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and optionally React or Vue • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs across the application stack • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security • Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning activities • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely fixes • Work closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to ensure smooth project delivery • Maintain documentation related to system architecture, business logic, and technical processes Skills & Experience Required: • Canadian residents based in the GTA apply only • Proven development experience with Python and Django in a production environment • Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Django ORM • Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript • Experience with React, Vue, or other frontend libraries/frameworks is an asset • Familiarity with Django REST Framework (DRF) for building APIs • Experience working with Git version control • Understanding of Docker, Celery, and asynchronous task queues is a plus • Familiarity with deployment platforms such as Heroku, AWS, or Azure is beneficial • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills About KalSoft Founded in 1999, KalSoft is a multi-award-winning trusted technology partner in business innovation, delivering impactful business results to clients throughout digital modernisation and evolution.
