Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Serve asthetechnicalsoftware development expert fortheprocesses ofspecification,design, development, testing, anddistribution ofcomponents and products inthetarget domain. • Developandleadthe adoption and ongoing improvement ofdomain-specificprocessesthatleverageinfrastructure and toolsto improve the efficiency, quality, and cybersecurity ofproduct development. • Serve as a technicalpartner,first point of contact, and communication facilitatorforproductdevelopment teams andtheir support groups. • Maintainawareness of developing trends and technologies related to thetargetdomain. • Model, teach, and applySELvaluesand thePrinciples of Operations. • Understand. Required Qualifications • Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Scienceor equivalent experience. • 8+ yearsofhands-onfirmware/softwaredevelopmentexperience. • 4+ years of hands-on development in the target domain:Embedded FW Development, Desktop Application Development, Cloud-native Software Development • 3+ years of experiencewith technical leadership in application development. • Experience withselectingCI/CD toolsanddeveloping CI/CD practices. • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment • Background check results satisfactory to SEL • Willing to travel occasionally (<10%) Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of SEL products and solutions • Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and techniques. • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards relevanttoOperational Technology and Critical Infrastructure such as NERC/CIP,FIPS,IEC 62443,etc. Competitive pay. Pay Range Data Development Lead Engineer $136,100 - $201,100 We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
