The Role: Coding with a Higher Purpose This isn't just another standard software engineering gig. As our Medical Software Developer, you will be architecting, building, and deploying software that medical practitioners rely on during critical clinical moments. You will solve complex algorithmic challenges, handle large-scale medical data streaming, and design clean, intuitive UIs that reduce cognitive load for busy doctors and nurses. Your code will bridge the gap between heavy medical computing and effortless user experiences. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Development: Conceptualize, write, test, and deploy robust, scalable backend and frontend code for our proprietary medical platforms. Interoperability Engineering: Design and implement integrations with modern healthcare standards, medical devices, and protocol systems. Data Security & Privacy: Implement military-grade encryption and secure access layers, ensuring strict compliance with Qatar's healthcare data protection laws. Performance Optimization: Refactor and optimize legacy applications to ensure minimal latency, maximum uptime, and lightning-fast database queries. Collaborative Innovation: Work side-by-side with UX designers, clinical consultants, and product managers to rapidly turn user feedback into functional features. What We Are Looking For (Requirements) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a highly related technical field. Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience. Prior experience working with HealthTech systems or healthcare data formats is highly valued. Technical Stack: Proficient in languages such as C#, Python, or Java for backend systems, alongside modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). The Technical Edge: Strong knowledge of database architectures (SQL/NoSQL) and experience deploying on secure cloud or on-premise microservices architecture. Soft Skills: A relentless problem-solving mindset, a high degree of empathy for end-users, and a passion for working in an agile environment.
