Location: onsite in Loomis, CA (greater Sacramento) Position Overview We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative applications that meet user needs. Prior experience with storage products and coding in Java on the front-end and C on the back-end is highly desirable. You will be working on our flagship product that is a powerful testing software platform for our customers to use. Features include product validation, protocol conformance, and performance benchmarking. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement software applications using Java and C. • Collaborate with team members in the development of microservices and APIs. • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance. • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and best practices. • Utilize cloud computing platforms for deployment and scaling of applications. • Implement CI/CD practices to streamline the development process. • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases for data management and storage solutions. • Engage in frontend and backend development tasks as required. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in software development using Java and C. • JavaFX, GUI, FXML, Java Web Applications, JSP, JSF, User Interface, or Swing a big plus. • HTML, CSS, JavaScript - React, Angular, or Vue. • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and microservices architecture. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best practices. • Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database management. • Experience in frontend and backend development frameworks. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
